In this article I will give you steps for connecting Buffer with your Tumblr account with the help of IFTTT.com. If you are not using IFTTT or Buffer, then you should be. Stop what you are doing and create your account today. 

Buffer is a very handy tool for posting content across all of your social media channels. You can schedule your posts from the web or mobile apps. Buffer offers a free and pro plan called the “Awesome” plan. The good news is that the free version offers some great features. 
You can connect the following social media accounts to Buffer:
Facebook Pages
Facebook Profiles
Facebook Groups
Twitter
LinkedIn Profiles
LinkedIn Groups
LinkedIn Company Pages
App.net Profiles
Google+ Pages


Unfortunately Tumblr is not one of the current accounts you can connect. Not to worry. Simply follow the steps below to connect your accounts. 

Create IFTTT and Buffer accounts if you don’t have one already. 
Connect your Tumblr and Buffer accounts with your IFTTT account.
Use this recipe to so that when you post a photo in Buffer it creates a photo post in Tumblr.
